Problem

A local swimwear company needs a brand identity that will standout from other surf brands to be used in print and on screen.

Solution

Create a brand name and a unique brand identity that could be used across a variety of applications. This brand identity will ideally resonate with adult women between the ages 18-45, who are drawn to the latest trends. This project includes branding, custom typography, and brand illustrations.

The name Ornya is a play off the companies home state of California. The line is meant to have a close connection to the state while still being original and unique. The phonetic use of “ornia” (the second half of California) is the origin of the brands name Oryna.
