Problem
An established sweets company wanted to break out of its shell and create a line of innovative new gummies for adults. They needed a name, brand identity and packaging.
Solution
Create a brand name, flavors, and a unique brand identity that could be used across a variety of applications. This brand identity will ideally resonate with adult women between the ages 18-45, who are drawn to the latest trends. This project includes branding, custom typography, and packaging design with hand drawn illustrations for each flavor of gummies.

Splash Mocktail is a trendy collection of innovative adult gummies and I wanted to bring in the feeling of artisan cocktails to the brand. I explored trendy liquor brands, playful custom typography, as well as colorful and juicy fruits that convey a refreshing feeling during a warm summer day.
Packaging & Collateral
The thought behind the Splash Mocktail brand identity is bright, fun, trendy, and artisanal. I created hand drawn illustrations for each gummy flavor that live on the packaging. I also was able to collaborate with the innovation team on the taste and texture of the gummies and name the flavors.

Process
This project was a unique one as it did not have a brand name or flavors when I was brought into the project. I was able to collaborate with the innovation team on the taste and texture of the gummies and name the flavors, as well as brainstorm the brand name and come up with one that gives a juicy, refreshing feeling. I started off with sketches using the 1st name we ran with for some time, Botanical Mocktails. I took these sketches into Adobe Illustrator and created label mockups for each flavor. Eventually I turned a different direction and created the Splash Mocktail name, and logo using a custom type. This project was long and windy road, but I learned a lot along the way of what goes into creating a new product and how to collaborate with different teams across a large company.
